A Good Idea, in just under a year and a half, receive the American Red Cross "Acts of Kindness" award. AGI was recognized by not only the Red Cross, but also by Mayor Newsome and SF's Board of Supervisors for the award.

Mayor Newsome surprises organizers of "Call to Hope", a fundraiser at the St. Francis Yacht Club to benefit A Good Idea, a nonprofit that's trying to build a residential high school for homeless teens in the city.

A Good Idea, was among 100 charities out of 500,000 eligible nationwide to garner enough Facebook votes to receive $25,000 through the Chase Community Giving contest with JPMorgan Chase.
